Help Need help after full backup and factory reset

I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and I did a full backup and didn't lose a thing until I looked in my memos. All my memos are missing. Can anyone please walk me through on how to recover them if at all possible? Thank you to all you brilliant androidians!!!

Chris, what app did you use for your memos?
Did you back them up also?

And for completeness, what did you use to do your backup? Since you don't say I expect it's some Samsung application, but as there is more than one backup method or tool available, and they aren't all the same, it might help to know.
