Need help badly!!

I forgot my gmail account on my android 2.2, ive incorrecly put my pattern unlock code 12 to 15 times, and now its asking for a gmail account and password and i forgot it!!! please help and if theres a way around it
 
What phone do you have. You can likely do a factory reset and then get a new gmail account unless you can go to a computer and recover your account info from google.
 
  1. Turn the power off. If your HTC G2 is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
  2. Hold the Volume Down button
  3. Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
  4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
  5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
  6. Press and release the Power button
  7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO
 
You should be able to reset your password by trying to log into gmail on a computer and clicking "cant access your account"

Factory reset allows you to get access to your phone again if at a later point you can gain access to your previous gmail account you can get your paid apps back. My wife did the same thing shortly after she got her droid
 
oh.. is see...

hard reset the phone.. and use a different / new google account.. one that you will remember the password.. or link it to your email address you use.
 
Yeah the only issue is if you had purchased any apps they are gone until you remember your login info.
 
I have a problem, the kid tried to unlock my htc tatto several times and now I need to sign in my gmail account to confirm that I am owner( gmail acount i was create 1 year ago and I barely remember my user name), please if you know how can i resolve this issue i will be so grateful to you! Thanks
