Help Need help bypassing activation screen (LG Spectrum)

I don't know 100% for the spectrum, but any phone I've been around you could skip it by pressing the four corners of the black screen around the little green dude. This is on the screen with the Android and the emergency dial and activate buttons.

Top Left --> Top Right --> Bottom Right --> Bottom Left

on the bottom touches, go just above the buttons.

I can confirm this works. I've had to use it before. At the language select screen just enter:

Volume Up
Volume Down
Back
Menu

Your talking about the screens that pop up when the phone is turned on?
I tried the method dc82 recommended but it didn't work. Not sure if I did it right though. Could you be more specific on the directions please? TIA

I gave it a shot while messing with ROM installation, and when the select your language screen comes up (before the activation happens) I tried it, no change, it still tried to activate. Have not flashed again, so no idea on how to get it to work

For the spectrum all I had to do was (while at the "select your language" screen) the following

1. Volume Up
2. Volume Down
3. Back

Gave it a few seconds and it took me to the home screen. I didn't have to push a 4th button. Just my 2cents on my experience with this phone.
