Need help choosing a case

Hello, I am going to buy a new case for my Triumph, i find some cases block the noise cancellation mic and what not but I also found some that had room made for this circular piece:

What is this and does it need a hole for it in a case?

It is some sort of either diagnostic port or for an external antenna. So a it doesn't matter if a case covers it or not. Just you don't want the noise cancelling mic covered. So you can pick a case based on those 2 things. There are some pretty decent cases for the MT too I guess... I don't know which ones are and which aren't since I've only had the rocketfish case from bestbuy which wasn't the best...
 
There are quite a few decent cases on both Amazon and Ebay for dirt cheap. Both hard shell and silicone are available.
 
I work at best buy so I got the rocket fish case and it does its job. It also has worked well enough to keep dust from getting under the screen.
 
Ive gotten a TPU case off eBay for like $4.99. TPU is not as hard as a hard shell case but its not as soft as a slicone. That case has spots for the NC mic and the Atenna hole at the botton.

that port is for an external antenna and to me i've tried a couple of cases like hard case, gel case, and tpu case. And the best case to me is the tpu case it feels good when you hold it, protects ur phone from scratches, and another good thing is it doesn't add bulk to the phone.
 
generic Gloss Black TPU case from ebay.

slides into pocket EASY.

very slim

durable

doesnt stretch like silicone cases. stays tight

minimal design makes it cheap.
 
Here's the $3 hard case case I have.

Mine is darker blue than in the photo. It fits great and looks good.

The only issue I have is when trying to move an icon from one screen to another. The case makes it harder to slide your finger far enough to the edge to get the screen to change to the next "page".

I'm thinking of getting a TPU case, because they look like they have more clearance near the edges of the screen. Though I like the rigidity that the hard case adds to the phone.
