My head is spinning with all of my options for a new device.
I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which I love. The screen is huge making it great for me to read books and watch movies on my daily commute and on my breaks and lunch at work.
Doing this has me into reading again after not doing so for many years. This immediately drew me to the Kindle Paperwhite. The screen is fantastic and the battery lasts a month. VERY attractive option for me. I could get this and still use my Note 3 for watching movies.
Then this lead me to the Kindle Fire. I thought, why not sacrifice some battery and be able to watch movies on a bigger screen? The question here is does the Fire support a wide variety of video formats and is the display hard on the eyes for reading on such a bright screen? It's not on the Note 3 but I thought I'd at least open the floor to comparison on how the display is for reading when comparing the Paperwhite to the Fire.
Then I thought, why get a fire when I can get a Nexus 7 (or some other Android tablet you might recommend) and be able to read, watch movies and have a full blown big Android device at the same time? Having this new device be an Android isn't that big of a deal, especially if the Kindle Fire is so much better as a media device. It seems the Kindle battery is better which is a plus.
Enlighten me!!!
