Need help choosing phone

Hey everyone,

So i am new to the android scene and i was wondering what phone i should get. Since my contract with Sprint is up at the end of the summer i was wondering which phone would best be suited for me. This is what i am looking for. I am looking for a phone that could be my everything, but above all, it needs to be able to provide a great gaming experience. What attracted me to this phone was that it was an alternative from the iphone and its apps and games. Since i learned that i can play GBA, SNES, and Sega games on this phone thats when i knew i want this phone. Also i am in love with the iphones abiblity to make internet browsing so easy and comfortable, which i assume this phone can do as well. I also would love to have a great Camera that way i can ditch my camera and DS and Ipod and have a phone for all. One of my biggest problems in choosing is the fact that i want a very small phone. something that if put it in my pocket its not buldging out. the phone cannot be bigger than the Iphone which i think is about the pefect size.

I just read some articles about the new 4G phones unveiled today. i believe they come out sometime in the summer if i am not mistaken. So what should i pick. the new 4G phones? or should i just stick with something that is perfect now and be cheaper by the time i buy one?

ps: how is playing GBA or SNES games on these phones without keypads. or i guess i should ask is it comfortable playing on a touch screen with out no buttons?
 
4G nation-wide coverage is far, far away from reality.

Android does: better browsing than the iPhone can ever dream (many Android phones already use Flash lite, so you can stream videos right from the browser), better resolution (N1 et al), brighter screens (N1, Desire, Samsung Galaxy S), better camera (several models have 5MP cameras as opposed to the iPhone's measly 3MP and does better colors/has flash so you can actually, at last, take pictures in lighting less than perfect broad daylight!). The best part, of course, is that on Android you can browse, stream music in a native app, and use Google maps to navigate all at once while taking notes in yet another app. The iDon't can only manage one of those at a time.

The Evo is huge. Way huge: 4.3'' screen--the biggest to be had among phones, a giant among men--isn't at all tiny and, yes, much bigger than the iPhone. Won't fit in your pocket unless you've got unusually big pockets. Go for something with 3.7'', which would be the Nexus One, the Desire, and the Incredible.
 
Forget about android. Here's how you should pick out your phone:
1) select the carrier with the best service
2) if both are good, select the one that is cheaper
3) pick the best handset from that carrier

I'd wait on 4g until it gains a bigger footprint. Unless you are spending most of your time in one of the cities that will get the 4g first.

choosing a phone then carrier is ass backwards.
