I am a fresher here so hope this isnt a repost. Got the ACE a cpl of days back and since then have been struggling to get it communicating with a PC. Here is what I have
Win XP SP3 + Kies 2.XX (Latest update as of 28th June)
A fresh ACE, no additional app or updates installed.
These are my observations with USB connection:
1. When I connect the ACE to the PC it always connects in the debugging more.
2. If i turn off the debugging mode, then it connects in the mass storage more.
3. If I turn on the mass storage more -nothing further happens, and Kies tells me, this is not the right mode and connect in the PC studio/Kies mode - Problem is I dont see anything of that sort on my phone!! I have tried all the manuals and docs available.
My observations with Bluetooth:
1. I am able to pair the phone with my laptop and even do file transfers.
2. But Kies says - the device didn't allow a connection?
Its been two frustrating days and am not even able to sync my contacts with the phone...so its practically useless. Any help in this regard would be great.
