Need help deciding between GS3 or EVO lte

I have sprint, and as you know the pre-orders have been shipped, i didnt have a pre order. but i want a new phone, ive had my phone the htc hero for 2 years and my contract was up to renew for like 2 months now, and i was wondering if i should get the EVO LTE or just wait for the S3? i can wait but i want it bfore the end of june, i dont care about sense or touchwiz ive used them both, i just want the better android if its not to much of a wait. So please help meeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Oh and if the note is coming to sprint soon that'd be cool)

.... because

the specs will be very much the same..
samsung has a history of weak radios..
htc has history of better support..
kickstand..
camera button..

i am leaning towards htc...

I just read this article. Of course it's more of a specs battle rather that real world since most hands on with the SG3 has been limited to a few minutes on announcement day.

After owning the evo lte for a few days i love it and would recommend it if i had another week or so to play around with it. However the gs3 is a pretty good phone as well. I will put together an easy comparison list for you.

Screen: The evo has a 4.7inch slcd2 hd display while the gs3 has a 4.7inch super amoled hd display. As far as screen goes the gs3 will please people who want high contrast ratios but for everything else the evo has a better screen. It is hard to convey how pretty the screen is over the computer. Winner: evo

Processor: The evo has probably the best processor available for use today the snapdraggon s4. It is likely that when the gs3 comes to sprint it will carry a similar processor so its a tie in this category. Winner: gs3

Design: This may be a bit subjective but the gs3 is a pretty ugly looking device. It looks pretty nasty especially in the white color IMO. The evo has some pretty jarring design faults as well. The back especially seems to be really cluttered. However the design of the evo has grown on me and ive come to like it. I cant call a winner on just looks though and since the evo comes with a built in kickstand and camera button it is the winner. Winner: evo

Software: Samsungs gs3 has a ton of new software features that will please anyone and most of which do not come on the evo. Unfortunately though it also comes with good old touchwiz which has remained relatively untouched since last year. The evo doesnt have a lot of software extras but it does come with sense 4.0. Sense has been completely redesigned and leans far closer to stock ics than touchwiz does.
Winner: Tie* If you prefer touchwiz to sense 4.0 then the gs3 wins

Build quality: Both devices are built to last. Both are put together very well and are some of the best built phones on the market. However the evo is built with much higher quality materials that will feel much nicer to hold.
Winner: Evo

Storage: Both feature micro sd card slots for up to 64 gb of extra storage. However the samsung comes in many different flavors of internal storage with 16, 32, and 64 gb models being available in europe. The gs3 has not been announced for sprint yet though and no one knows if this will carry over to sprint.
Winner: inconclusive

Battery: Early battery tests show the gs3 to preform similarly to the evo. However those tests were preformed with samsungs quad core exynos processor which drains more battery. Since it is speculated that the samsung will have the snapdraggon processor on sprint it should have better battery life than the evo. The samsung also has a removable battery if you ever want to purchase an extended battery.
Winner: Samsung

Camera: This is hard to judge since i have never used the gs3 camera but ive seen a few reviews on the internet so i will condense those for you. The gs3 has a great camera with almost as many features as the evos. The gs3 actually shoots videos at faster fps and has supposed better clarity in high light situations. The evo has far superior low light capabilities and can take pictures while shooting videos. Having actually used the evo's camera i can say that it is absolutely incredible for a phone.
Winner: Tie

So after taking all that in they are both amazing phones. If you want an incredible screen with a higher quality feel then go for the evo. If you want better battery life and possible better storage then go for the samsung.

The real decider though is what software you prefer. If you like touchwiz go for the gs3 but if you prefer sense 4.0 go for the evo

thank you, i think i will buy the evo when it launches nationaly, but i think ile call bestnuy tomorow and ask if they have any, just in case lol
