Help Need help flashing firmware onto an S805 AML MXQ box.

Trying to flash an s805 amlogic MXQ box with new firmware. I bought it from china and it has been acting funny, the seller told me to download USB_burning_tool and gave me a link to their image to flash it with. Everytime I tried to import the image onto the burning tool I kept getting the error message "parse burning image fail". The seller hasn't been responding since.

I don't know whether I extracted the image into the wrong place or the image was corrupted or what I am doing wrong but I would very appreciative if someone on this forum could point me in the right direction.

I have uploaded the log from the USB_burning_tool if that would help anyone. It seems that it is a parsing issue, the device is not being seen by the tool. The box is working, it turns on and off and I have tried resetting it.

Thanks for the reply. It is V2.0.2. I posted a video on youtube of the error. It is in Chinese as I was sending it to the supplier. Will create and upload an English version shortly.

Tried downloading and using the latest version I could, 2.0.4.3. Failed. Is there an alternative ROM you could direct me please?
 
I already know how this error is produced. There is an error in your burning files. You can add my skype account. my sky ID is :andrew7424 I will give you a solution
 
hi, not sure if you have get it sorted.
But you are flashing a wrong image or the seller is giving you a wrong files.

The files your selected seems to be an unzipped SD card flashing files.

Solution :
1. Get the USB burning tool image from the seller again
2. Flash the files you got with SD card

And some seller name the image in chinese , you have to rename and delete thos chinese characters, otherwise you will get an parsing error.
