Root need help i bricked my stylo

well i was rooting my phone for boost and i realize that the roting they had wasnt available so now my phone is stuck on the lg image any ideas of how to unbricked this or is it paper wait now

Depends on where you bought your device. If you got it from Bestbye or walmart you can swapp it no questions asked with in 14 days.

Believe it or not there are jumpers on the board that determine what model it identifies as. The board itself is marked "ls770." I would like to see someone with a brick who could experiment with those.

i have now bricked my lg g stylo boost mobile. i rooted my phone with the kingroot method on 5.0.2, and then used an app that was supposed to switch the kingroot app for supersu. i know that the app works cause i used it on my kyocera hydro icon, but when i used it on the stylo to get the supersu app it now freezes up at the boost sign with the 4g symbol. iv tried to factory reset with in the stock recovery and it clearly says it wiped everything, but its still stuck on the boost screen. any ideals?

So that means yu are on 5.1.1
Use the 5.1.1 root method and youll be back on track...no worry about having brick just redo it with new method.

No I was never able to update because I was rooted in the first place. I kept losing root with the king root about every other time I restarted my phone so I found an app over on XDA that would automate the process of switching from king root to SuperSU. Only when I switched the phone restarted and the wouldn't go past the boost screen. I was and still am on 5.0.2

Well it's already bricked, so what's the worst that can happen. Lol I'll give it a try this weekend when I get to a computer that has admin privilege

YES YES YES YES!!!!!! It worked and even more good news is if you are stuck on 5.0.2 with boost this is also a way to update to 5.1.1 I know this because my wife has the same phone and was in that boat. Her phone wasnt bricked, i pushed the 5.1.1 system img then ran the update package, and it is booting as i type this. Only downside is you will lose root, but that is easily fixed with the guide in the top of the forum. Thnx 6th_Hokage, and Kolma528

Is there anything I can do?
