Help Need Help Installing ICS since I Rooted Last month

Okay, So I rooted my phone last month using Razr Bootstrap, I just used Titanium Backup Pro for my Apps. I tried to update to ICS but I received a message saying install failed. I assume it is b/c I rooted.

Now my question is, if I flash back to stock, then do the system update, can I just re-root my phone the same way I did before, do a factory reset and install Titanium backup Pro to restore all my apps? Will my apps just appear again? Do I need to remove my SD card? Kind of confused on how I will get my apps back...

I used this guide to sidleload ICS on mine. Worked fine. Not sure if your rooted setup will allow this but you could give it a look.

Forgot to ask, when you rooted did you change to Safestrap recovery? If you did that is your update issue, at least it was for me with the last big update. Also, if you do have Safestrap, this sideload way won't work for you it says.
