Help Need help just got replacement Rezound

Just got my new Rezound from verizon. They replaced with out a blink of an eye whick I thought I would have to pull teeth to get a new one. They rplaced because the battery would not last very long any more and it would get very hot. I think the battery issue started after the update it went from 10+ hours to barely 4.My problem is I just got a notification about a update should I update it. This phone doesn't have verizon ID, or Verizoin Location on it as a app any way like my old phone.
 
Tough choice. The latest update I got was to version 2.01.605.11. If I had not gotten it auto I would not have it. I did not see any improvement just Verizon crap.
 
I did not notice any gain with the OTA but I experienced no pain either. It's difficult to fix what's not broken. I suspect it will be pushed again and again until you accidentally accept. I had no choice... just noticed it was updating.
 
Honestly, I'd take it and then re-root if you wish. It did improve reception on mine and you can always freeze bloat that's just taking up space.
