Need help... looking for MS Word/Office type app...

I'm nooB to this board, and looking for some help...

I just got my first Android based phone, and I'm looking for a FREE app

that functions similar to Microsoft Word/Office.

Basically, I'm looking for a free app that I can create word processor documents.

Also, I'd like to be able to create Excel-like spreadsheets...

Does anyone know of an application like this?

If there are several, which would you rate as the best one??

I've used Documents2Go before, and it only allowed me to VIEW MSword files.

I want to be able to create notes on my actual device/smartphone...

i also searched this and found that no free app can create. nothing really good at least. im using polaris office that came pre-installed on my galaxy S2, and its very good. n of course the paid docs to go is great, i hear.. i suggest u go in for a paid one, its worth it

For MS Excel docs to edit, you can use the free app 'e-Droid-cell'

But a complete office app for create and edit office docs? There is not such a Android app for free.

Had you a look at Google Docs yet?

Only for take notes? There are a lot of notes apps in Market.
I like the very simple 'TxtPad'
It creates .txt files.

did you see i listed Google Docs? did you try Google Docs?

i guess docs2go is the best option on android as well?

had it on my blackberry and while it was really good it was definitely missing some office features that i use a lot.

hopefully the android version is a little more advanced feature-wise.
