Need Help Moving App from one phone to another

Upgrading from my HTC EVO LTE 4 to a Note 3. There's an app on the HTC SD card that is no longer available in Google Play or anywhere else online. I took the SD card from the HTC and put in into the Note 3, but it won't read the apps on the SD card- just the movies, music, photos, etc.

So, how can I get this app onto my Note 3?

Try downloading es files or another file explorer app should be able to install, the stock file explorer doesnt allow installing of apps. Also make sure you have the install from other sources checked in settings

So wait, you want, but can't get a hold of the app to install it on the new phone, or are you just trying to move app data to the new phone?

Play Store apps are never stored on sd
