NEED HELP on deleting files

I need help on deleting pre-installed apk files. It said the files is READ-ONLY. I have already rooted the device using "Root explorer" and using "Terminal Emulator" trying to remove the file. BUt it doesnt work at all.
I see all files now r/w (I can do anything one those files) except the "app" in system/app. HOw come every files can now become r/w expcet the files inside "app". Note: the system files is r/w, only files inside system inclduing "app" are r/o.

At the to of the screen, click the button that says "mount as r/w"

I tried... there is a button R/w.. but even I click on that... nothing is changed... keep r/o mode
