Need help please android app techs

I had a moto DROID x and I had Caros Calendar App and have about 7 months of very,very important info on it. I just bought a RAZR maxx and can't get the data to my new phone. I have learned a couple of things. It is a CSv file when you back it up through Caros but something happens when it saves it to the SD card or something. It will backup and work fine on my DROID x but it won't on the RAZR. Can anyone help I have to have this data!
 
According to the description for Caros Calendar, it uses Google calendar sync. That should mean that your dates are also available on the stock Google calendar.

Further, dates are only displayed on some droids (like mine) going a few months back. But if you look at them on a PC, they go back forever.

I am not a tech by any means, but have tripped over stuff like this before.
 
I need the data that I had put in everyday. The only thing it does when it sync's with Google is the holiday's and things like that. It does not transfer your data. I may have not written the correct type of file it backs up as but its close. I have learned that it is the type of file that word and some other programs use because if I look at that file on my computer off my SD card it opens it with office but its all jumbled up in a format I can't really use. Any other help? Thanks for the reply though!
 
Well its got to be something to do with the new phone. I put some data in a few of the days with the app on the razr and then backed it up. I deleted the app and went to where you back it up and restore and hit restore and it said it could not read that type of file. I think it said it was a playerll. file or something. any ideas anybody?
