Root Need help please!

have a galaxy s2 epic touch (sprint) when i got the unit i flashed it and had not backed up factory rom, i flashed with EG30-Stock-deodexV2-withCIQ now i have tried to ota update and kies, also rom manager, it give me the message that my rom developer has not set this rom to take ota updates, this is where i need some direction to flash a rom that i can get otas back and update, i do want to root due to my back up is in titanium pro, and would need root to pull back in my data settings and such, thanks for any help anyone can give me on my issue

First off, what method did you use to root the phone? If you used a method that gave you a full version of CWM, you should be able to put a ROM on your SD and simply flash it from there. If not, there's another option still:
You can unroot the phone and restore it to a stock ROM.
This is a link to a full ROM database, simply flash one of the first two stock ROMS using the ODIN one-click method they provide (Choose no data to keep your data- ironic naming, I know). Samsung Epic 4G Touch/ROMs - XDA-Developers

Then, reroot using the Zergrush method and install CWM through the same method.

Flash your heart out! (After making a backup, of course).

Remember, all of the steps above are ONLY for redoing everything if you can't flash a new ROM via CWM.
