Root NEED HELP PLEASE

ok i have tried to root this phone from metropcs.. i have downgraded to D if i root with kingroot it says its rooted but then the phone will keep locking up but if i disable kingroot phone is fine i have also tried the one click root lg and it roots it but then when phone boots up it just stays on the metropcs logo , i then have to pull the battery to reboot the phone into download mode and reflash the kdz , so right now phone is stock again on d android 5.1.1

what am i doing wrong for this to happen....

After rooting with king root do you run the script to replace Kinguser with Supersu? You might want to do that to keep the phone rooted. Once you do that install the correct TWRP and back a backup of your stock ROM.

One more thing don't forget to go into dev. options and click the box that says oem unlock.

Thanks for the info i will try the script to replace kinguser with supersu...

same thing i install root it with kingroot and kinguser keeps crashing adn when i try to replace with su i cant as kinguser crashes every time i try to do anything on the phone.. so i guess i will just stay with stock rom and not be able to root...
