Help Need help retrieving apps from deactivated Droid X2

Long story short I dropped my X2 and broke the screen. Got a replacement through asurion. Was a bone head and activated my new phone thinking I could just move the apps on my old phone to the sd card and restore them to my new phone. But as I have found out this doesn't work. Even though I move an app to the sd card it seems that the important part of the app(game progress for example) does not move. Is there a way to retrieve these apps?

If you got the apps from the play store they'll all be in the "my apps" section, just redownload the ones you want.
