Root Need help rooting htc thunderbolt!

Hey guys,

I have a tbolt that would love to root. I have a macbook pro and the only forums I can find have multiupload links and their server is down or inactive so I am stuck and need your help.
Here are my specs:
Thunderbolt
Android 2.2.1
Hoot-1.03.0000
1.10.605.3

I would eventually like to get sense 3.5 on my phone, but need to root my phone first obviously.

I also wanted to do revolutionary, but it said I needed and hboot of .04 or .05.

wow you are on some old ass firmware. your best bet is to just run an ruu. s-on will always let you go your biuld or higher,so you have plenty to choose from. 2.11.605.5 is the last that is revolutionary rootable,so pick that or something slightly older.

i have no idea about rooting i just really heard about it from friend and i want mobile hotspot...i have the hboot .05 and i got my beta key when i entered it in the unzipped revoulutionary file it said it is zerging root and may take a few minutes but after a second it said root failed press any key to close need help plz such a noob to this stuff

what is your software build number? (check settings/about phone)

what do you need to know about?

you can either run free3vo and then revolutionary manually using directions in the root/unroot thread,or you can use trters tool.
