Root need help rooting lg venice 4.1.2 jellybean

Has anyone figured out how to root the new update from
4.1.2 ...i had root on 4.0...but when i try it keeps showing
A encrpytion password screen....is there a way to bypass this

You can downgrade to V5 re-root save root with android root toolkit and or ota root keeper. Than use the ota update reply tge root with android root toolkit and then you will have 4.1 rooted.

How do i downgrade to 4.0 i seen the thread but confussed
About a couple steps...is there a more descripted instructions
Some where ive tried youtube and nothing yet

There is no working root for ICS.

What you can do is downgrade your phone to ICS, root it, get OTA Root Keeper and re-do the JellyBean update.

There is no working root for ICS.

What you can do is downgrade your phone to ICS, root it, get OTA Root Keeper and re-do the JellyBean update.

Confirmed - I used the OTA Rootkeeper to backup the root before the JB update and was able to restore with no issues.
