Help Need help/tips to unbrick phone. (hard brick?)

okay so here is the situation i am currently in.
i have a lg optimus f3 so its called on the tmobile network (lg-p659) as far as i have read on this forum my phone is currently "bricked". Right now what i'm trying to achieve is to get my phone into download mode, but as of far i have tried all button combo's and all the little battery tricks. i can't get my phone to do a damn thing. it just stays on a black screen no led backlight nothing.

Although when i do hook up my phone without the battery i get a prompt to install a driver for a so called "QHSUSB_DLOAD" i can not find the driver for this so when i try to run the KDZ program it fails at the point of trying to connect to the phone.

Please help... Thanks in advanced

P.S. i'm using this guide: http://androidforums.com/metropcs-t...8-guide-unbrick-unroot-lg-optimus-f3-kdz.html

Have you pulled the battery and restarted holding the volume up button?
yes... i have tried all the conventional methods to get the phone into download mode.
And doing it ur way did not change anything. same black screen same driver device thing. just nothing but a expensive paper weight at the moment.

Edit: btw i cant boot it or get the screen to show anything, so yeah.

i suppose no one has ran into this problem before and knows how to fix it. Please if someone could point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated.

Believe me i have looked into many different methods to try and unbrick my device. so far all have returned with a very unsatisfactory result...

Thanks to the users so far that have posted some info. Kudos to you two

There's a VM F3 owner having the same issue. No solution though. The thing is, if you can't boot the system or recovery and you can't enter download mode there's not much you can do. Right now you have no way to access the device to restore the firmware. I know that's not what you were hoping to hear but that's the way it stands at this point. :(

What do you do to you phone to get in this predicament?

The AF member I mentioned in my previous post will be testing a possible fix for this issue. If it is indeed successful it should work for all variants of this device. Keep your fingers crossed. :)

Please tell me someone found a fix for this problem because I have the same thing right now. Would really be happy If I could figure this one out lol:confused:

Tried that path already. Show nothing for adb devices. The only thing I can get is QHSUSB_DLOAD when I plug the phone in. And it only shows up in devices and printers. Also cannot find a driver for it anywhere. I think im up a creek lol

I never got an answer from the person who was testing a possible fix. He pm'ed me asking for help with trying a solution he had found...to which I did. :) Sadly, I never got a conformation ya or nay from him whether it worked or not.:( Though I seriously have my doubts.

Unfortunately you're right in your position relative to the creek. I bet you know what kind of creek it is too. I know...bad joke. Did you already try entering Download mode with no success? Forgive me if you've already stated this. I try to help anyone who asks if I can and going through so many different posts can get a little hard remembering who said what, where. ;)
