Need help to root..

Need more info...this is usually not possible unless you have previously rooted need phone carrier and current version
 
Optimus Elite root with an apk No pc is needed just use your phone to download the files from the post and enable "Unknown Sources" under settings --> applications I recommend ES File Explorer to make it easier to find and install the apks from your sd, and maybe a alternative Web browser also both on the play store
 
Definitely at least install opera mini to download the files. Stock browser doesn't work well with them
