need help to update to latest android version!

I got my samsung s8 second hand. Its from korea or something and i think they rooted it because knox is tripped and it says custom in settings. I need step by step on how to update to the latest android version please!

Thank you so much, this shouldn't cause any problems right? My phone is a bit weird it's not rooted but Knox is tripped.

Since Original CSC Code and Available CSC codes are blank. You might be able to use a different country firmware other than Germany.

Okay, do you know why they would have used the German firmware? And what is CSC?

It was probably rooted before then returned to stock before being sold.
Just to know, once Knox is tripped, there is no way to reset it. Some Samsung apps like Samsung Pay won't work.
It's been a while but I think CSC stands for Country Sales Code. It's away Samsung region locks some of their phones.

Yes I read about Knox, Samsung pay doesn't work and neither does Google pay.

If you want to give it a try. If it fails to flash with Odin, should reboot into the current installed version.
You get 5 files with new Samsung firmware and you will use 4 of them.
Choose either CSC Home to keep data or regular CSC for complete wipe.
