Help Need help Tried to downgrade and mess my device up (Not Rooted)

HEllo i have the samsung note 2 from tmobile SGH-T889, it was 4.3 firmware then i updated to 4.1.1 so that i can unlock the phone, but the problem is it wont let me update the firmware now thru over the OTA it says cant upload phone was modified, and i try to download it from kies, but when its about to download the fimrware kies stock forever and nothing happened, now i did download the latest fimware from sammobile which is MK7 and try it via odin. but it also stock thru odin. anything wrong with my phone?

i donwgraded my phone from 4.3 to 4.1.1 so that i can unlock my phone. after that i cant update the firmware thru OTA. becaus it says phone i modifie. even kies, detect the recent firmware but kies always froze, and i download recent firmware from sammobile but ODIN always stock on this pic attached. any idea why sirs?i posted this to the correct forum but no one bother helping me. just want to know what is the best thing i need to to to get back to stock again thanks. thanks

I think you are fortunate that you did not brick the device. As 4.3 came with Knox, any attempt to downgrade may brick. ;)
So, are you still rooted? Is your phone still functioning?
How did you go from 4.3 to 4.1.1?? or did it not succeed?

Your in the wrong forum for that kind of help. Unless someone here might want to reach out. But, the bad news is...and you should see it. You tripped Knox...0

i really dont know that it might brick my phone. yes i am lucky that the phone still working. when i downgrade it from 4.3 to 4.1.1 the phone is fully stock. not rooted. yes phone still functioning but cant get any updates OTA, kies or using odin. yes it went from 4.3 to 4.1.1 by getting the 4.1.1 LJ1 firmware from here, but i install super user on the phone and and installing the cwm6-recovery-N7100-121014.tar i think to get root and hoping i can get to fully stock again. and after that i just leave the phone like that. :(

i wasnt rooted at all. official from 4.3 the downgraded to 4.1.1 but after i downgraded to 4.1.1 and the phone get unlocked already, i want to go back to latest firmware which is 4.3 but it doesnt want me to upgrade OTA because it says cant update phone is Modified. thats how started all the mess :(

OK, so if we understand you correctly, you were never rooted, then you took the OTA 4.3, now you realized you did not like 4.3, you decided to try to downgrade to 4.1 through Odin ?? If this is the case, then you most like trip Knox, I would do more reading on this before you go any further. I am not sure of the exact process, but as Mike mentioned, you are lucky you did not brick your device. I will move this thread to the none ATR section for now, since you are not rooted. Then I would wait until you get the proper answer and work around, before you make matters worst, if you do not get any further help, don't be impatient, some may not have a solution for you, simply also post in the Q&A thread over at XDA and see if they can also guide you, the more eyes the better, just wait to pull your trigger, that is my advice to you.

thanks sir. yes all stock not rooted, want to sell the phone and i need to unlock it saw this thread How to Unlock Your Samsung Galaxy S3 & Note 2 (No Rooting) - xda-developers and get the 4.1.1 from here i use the LJ1 [-::STOCK::-] SGH-T889 Factory Images, Roms, Kernels, & Modems (Updated 06/02/13) - xda-developers. after that phone gets unlocked and under phone status now it says modified, i cant update the firmware thru OTA, it says phone is modified cant update, kies doesnt work, odin doesnt work too :(
 
First before going any further, why do you need to unlock it, if your going to unlock, your going to have to root, FYI, again, make sure sure before you do anything you post what your going to do before you do it and we will report back.

If you are not rooted and are stock, then you can sell it with no issues, going back to 4.1 ?? what is your reason for this if your selling ??:confused:

i need to unlocked it because the seller has a at and t sim card, so thats the only way i can sell it to her by unloking the phone. because on that thread above, it will unlock the phone by downgrading it to 4.1.1 coz that firmware has the only way to get access to acces menus.
 
I think that the Knox bootloader is standing in your way of what you want to do.
With that bootloader, you are limited to what you want to do...I have not seen a workaround.
Granted I have not read all the way thru the XDA thread that DonB posted, but I think that bootloader will be a thorn in your side:(
I know it is on the S3 (my device)

ugh!! :( so you mean there is no more chance i can update the phone no more? how about using the triangle away?

i already did that. downloaded the latest firmware from sammobile. and everytime doing the odin tried latest odin and .7 odin same thing happened. it will stock on this attached pic forever by not moving or nothing happening at all.

So it gets stuck there eh? Try disabling or uninstalling Kies, but leave the drivers.
Kies and ODIN don't like each other.


Edit: looking closer at your photo, I don't see the word "Added!" in the beginning of that text. (unless it's further up)
Perhaps ODIN does not see your device?

yes it gets stuck there forever. i did install kies but un install to the drivers. then when i plug the note2 again it automatically download the drivers, then when odin detects the note2 now, still same thing happened. stuck on that attached pic. i know it wont that long like more than 30mins with odin but still stuck on that attached pic :(

What version of ODIN are you using? 3.07?

I just checked it! How the heck I missed that to turn it on! Yes its off and I just turned it on. You mean is that matter while doing the kies or odin mode? But how come when I connect it to odin, odin still detects the phone?
