Root need help uninstalling supersu

Hello, my phone updated toLS720V8 and my root no longer works. I was using towelroot. I tried rerooting with stumproot, but supersu says there is no su binary and that superuser can't install it and force closes. So I was figuring that I needed to uninstall supersu before I do it again. Nothing I've tried so far will allow me to delete supersu. I've googled the problem and tried almost everything. Even a factory reset, but it's still there. Any help would be appreciated

There isn't a way as far as I know when your in that state. root apps think your not rooted but stump root thinks your already rooted. You'll most likely need to run the unbrick guide to reset your phone back to v7. Run the update to v8 and then re-root. I've had to do that in the past. That's why I put that in the LS720ZV8 updating guide to unroot before updating to v8. http://androidforums.com/threads/vi...720v8-updating-rooting-and-unbricking.876668/
