Need help unlocking a found sprint s4

So i found a sprint galaxy s4 the other day, and i dont mess with sprint so i want to unlock it. Hopfully you guys can help me with my questions, here we go.

I've never had a unlocked phone before, if i was to unlock the spring s4 would i be able to put a t-mobile or metropcs sim card in it?

If unlocked will the service of my t-mobile or metropcs be instantly connected to the sprint s4 by inserting my sim card?

I found this phone, so can i unlock it myself without retail assistance? If so, can i do it without using a pc

Indeed, and I have to be honest. Cash found up to say £50 (approx US $80), without any way of identifying it's owner is fair game as far as I'm concerned, a wallet, purse or other valuables is not. Think how would you feel of you lost your phone? I would be devastated, there are photos that are not yet backed up. Loads of personal log in details etc etc. It would be a major hastle as well.

The phone if it were the UK would be useless as soon as it was reported lost by its owner. It would be blacklisted to start with and probably "nuked" by a kill switch as well.

Have a heart, hand it in.
