I have a work phone (Stratosphere II) that my company pays for and controls. They have it locked down so that the BT will not turn on. They also have text messages shut down as well, however this is not a big issue for me as I have a personal phone for that. Not having BT is maddening when it comes to hands free. Can anyone help me get past this? I appreciate any guidance.

If they require you to use the phone while driving, inform them (you might check with the police to get official backing) that holding the phone to your ear while driving is recklessly dangerous. So is getting entangled in the wire of a wired handsfree. BT was made for safety, and the company might wish to know that it's putting itself in a precarious legal position.
(If you don't have to use it while driving, just hold it up to your ear.)
