Need help unlocking Captivate JH7

Hi i'm new to the forums so go easy on me please.

I have just recently bought the Captivate and I need for it to be unlocked because I do not live in the States and I need to use a local sim from my country.

I've used the guides provided by CapFaq and I believe I have sucessfully rooted my phone but when I try the unlock guides I can't get it to work.

So if someone can provided a step by step guide that explains the JH7 unlock in detail or a video I would be very grateful.

Have you tried the SGS Unlock App? I have JH7 and the new "rooted" option still seems to find the codes for me. Tell us what doesn't work.

I tried the SGS tool but the root generate codes and nv_data.bin options aren't showing.

If your not afraid to manipulate files this is what i used since the i896 version as been tempered.
