Help need help unlocking phone

my kid put a pattern lock on my s2 and exceeded pattern attempts, now it makes me login to google but i don't know anything about my google account , because i never use that, how do i get in wiht out losing data on phone? or how long will it take to let me try a pattern again?

could i install ice cream sandwhich 4.0 again ? will that keep my data?

I'm pretty sure that if you reflash the firmware you will loose you data unless you can find a "no wipe" version. Not familiar with the S2 but if there is a no wipe version you will probably find it at XDA.
