Hi all, I have a GT-I9305T and since I updated to Android 4.3 via Android software update, I've had charging issues. I've used a powered PC USB port and a mains-to-USB power adapter, and while the device reports that it is charging, actual battery percentage doesn't go up. The only way to charge the phone is to turn it off completely, and even then the process is very slow. An overnight charge gets me to 50%.
I did some Googling, and this is a known issue.
So, I tried another software update from Android, and it says "The software update service is unavailable. Maximum number of roll-out updates has been exceeded. Try later or update your device using Samsung Kies"
I downloaded and installed Kies3 version 3.2.14034_17 and it offers to update my firmware. I click update, and a download starts. Then, Kies3 just sits there chewing up 25% of my CPU without appearing to do anything.
What should I do?
