Need help updating CWMR

Hello,
This past weekend I successfully rooted my I777, then installed Serendipity 9.4 ROM and Siyah 3.5.1 Kernel.

I love this rom, only problem is contacts are not transferring over to my car via bluetooth.

So I was going to try and install AOKP Jellybean rom. I read all the FAQs, but it says to install the latest CWMR from ClockworkMod ROM Manager - Recoveries

I tried to download Samsung Galaxy S2 (AT&T) 5.8.1.5 touch recovery because on my current ROM that has CWM installed when I boot to it it states "CWMR Touch v5.5.0.4" at the top of the screen. The display screen just has the arrows you can touch right above the hard keys. So I tried installing the zip through the same process I would install a rom. I downloaded and tried installing from CWMR but nothing happened when I rebooted. Still on v5.5.0.4.

Am I picking the correct file? There are different ones for ATT and I777 and am I trying to install it correctly???

For the i777, ClockworkMod Recovery is embedded in the kernel, so the only way to update it is to use an updated kernel. The newest version of Siyah is 4.1.1 and is located here.

That said, it's not necessary to update CWM. You can just flash the AOKP zip file the same way you flashed Serendipity.
