need help with bluetooth

I just got a bluetooth headset and when i call or someone calls me i cant hear anythin but i can still hear system noises. Also i can still connect to media devices and it works fine. Any advice?

Yes. All of the sounds, like when the phone was answered, i could hear. Just not the what the other person was saying and they couldnt hear me.
