Soooo.. trying to root d2g with z4root. I had to install jdk and android sdk files.. I downloaded sdk file ok.. but I don't understand the install. A big black box comes up and fetches some files then gives me a bunch of options to either accept or reject. Not sure which ones to accept and it is taking FOREVER.. I have been sitting in starbucks 2 hours and have gotten nowhere with this.. I am bout ready to give up and go home.. I don't understand.. and I can't open z4root without this .. I think...someone please help!!

You had to install these on your phone? D2 didn't require this for z4root. Should just have to place the z4root .apk on your SDcard, go to Settings...Application settings...check Unknown sources. May also have to go into Development from Applicaiton settings and check USB debugging, don't remember if that was required for z4root. The open Files, go to where you placed z4root and run it.
I'm pretty sure Z4ROOT doesn't need all that done even for a D2G. If you have a ZIP file all you have to do there is unzip it so that you can get to the APK file. Once you have the APK file, connect your phone to the computer and USB transfer it to the SD card on your D2G. From there install the APK file using "FILES" or "ASTRO" or whichever file manager you use. Open the application and select permanent root.
