Root Need Help with MMS

OK, Here is what I have: I have a Samusung admire, Metro Pcs. New just rooted today.

I was removing all the metro crap (using titanium) when I deleted the MMS being I wasent using it, I use the go sms pro.

Well to come to find out you kinda need the mms that was installed on the phone, so now im trying to get it back on there...

Here is my issue I am having:
I go to system, apps and I see the MMS there, when when I try and install it, it says not installed. so I extrated files and tryed it again, same thing, of course Im not sure if Im doing this right. By the way I do open the superpermission on it.

What am I doing wrong, can anyone please give me advice on how to install this?
 
youll need the mms.apk and the mms.odex.
plug your phone into your comp, via usb
put the 2 files somewhere on your sd card.copy both somewhere on your sd card where youll remember..
exit usb mode
with root explorer, and in mount r/w find the files, move them to /system/app
reboot.
 
OK, I did think I did that, I just don't know what going on, do I need to extract the file once in apps? and what one do I click to install, the apk correct?
 
idk how root browser works, but root explorere gives you an option to make the file r/w or read only..as long as you can move the files around then youre fine..
youll need to take the following out of the stock app folder and place it in the system/app folder:
mms.apk
mms.odex
sms.apk
sms.odex
*sorry, forgot that you needed the sms files too

then youd only have to install the apk's. hope this helps. i had to the same thing.
