Welcome to the Android Forums!

Your phone is a Star A2000 and is made in China.

Moving your thread to the Other Phones forum as there is not currently a specific forum for this device...

Hi CopenGrizz01,
Can you elaborate more on what was the problem and what you did to fix it.
I am thinking of buying A2000 and use it with GoPhone network also.

Sounds like a bad deal to trade a Iphone 3G for a chinese Android phone... I am pretty sure your Iphone 3G is going to work better than your new Android phone.

Your Star A2000 is running Media Tek MTK6516 460MHz ARM9 cpu
which is slower than the

Iphone 3G which is using a Samsung ARM 11 processor running at 412 MHz
