Help need help with my new galaxy note 2

Good evening,I just purchased the att galaxy note 2... is there anyone out there who could explain to me how I move my gmail emails to the folders which are identified as labels, on tbis phone? Thanks a million to anyone who can help me..

Depending on the version of gmail you have, you'll either check the check box or tap the contact image, then the label icon at the top.
