I assume we're talking about getting connected via USB? I'm not a Mac owner, but I believe the USB port on the E4GT is a little different and uses MTP instead of USB mass storage by default.

The reviewer says he had to use Settings > Wireless and Networks > USB Utilities to get USB mass storage started for his Mac. This shows up as 2 devices on my PC (internal and SD card), where the default MTP connection shows the "SPH-D710" as a device. But I don't believe Mac supports MTP out of the box.
