Help Need help with upgrading!!! please help the newbie!!!

I bought a samsung galaxy s (model number GT-I9000) (PDA XXJF3, Phone XXJF3, XAJF3) its unlocked and i think it's an international version. How do I upgrade to Froyo or whatever the newest firmware upgrade is? thanks guys
 
Try KIES, if new update is available in your country, of course.
But if not so, you might try Odin. Just google "galaxy s upgrade odin" :)
