So I've been looking at tablets recently, and I heard about the Asus MeMo/Google tablet that's supposed to be manufactured by Asus. It seems like a dream tablet, a Tegra 3 tablet for $200. That's definitely within my price range, but I want a 10 inch tablet. The Transformer Prime is way too expensive, and I don't really want a Tegra 2 tablet.
However, I saw that the Toshiba Thrive is on sale (Toshiba Thrive Tablet With 10.1" HD Multi-Touch Screen, 16GB Memory, Android 3.1 OS, Dual Cameras & Bluetooth!). This looked like the perfect tablet for me. Nice screen, a bit bulky, FULL SIZED USB port (Huge huge plus), and ICS will be available soon. I don't want to regret my purchase once Google announces their tablet, but I want one now and I don't want to wait months and months for a tablet that might not even exist. So should I just go ahead and buy the Thrive, or wait for Google's tablet? The Thrive is looking really attractive right now, the only downside is that I don't want a tablet that'll be outdated by the time I get it. I'll probably upgrade in a few years though, or whenever I save up enough.
Help would be appreciated! Thanks.
