Help Need Help With Widget Thing

Again, new at this, so have patience. I downloaded a battery status widget yesterday, but it is neither in my apps section nor anywhere else that I can find on the phone. Any suggestions?

It is a widget which works out on a home screen kinda like your clock. You need to long press on the home screen where you have at least room for 2 icons wide and a menu will pop up. From there you will need to select widget then then Android widget. In the list that comes up you will find your new widget.
