Need help with Yahoo syncing issues.

Hello everyone! I just bought a new Android HD with 4G the other day. I am having a problem getting my Yahoo app to match up with the activity I do on my computer and etc.

Here is what I mean.

If I read a message on my computer and look at my phone two hours later, the same message on my phone shows unread. I also noticed that I can send a message from my phone but it will not be in my sent folder on my computer until many many hours later.

I am using WIFI at home and 4G on the road. Any thoughts to why this is happening and how to make it match up with my computer much faster?

I bet you're using a free Yahoo! account? To have your activity reflect on your phone and PC, the email should be set to IMAP. However, for Yahoo!, a free account only works on POP3. You can only use IMAP if you have a paid Yahoo!Plus account.
