Need Help

Hi, I have failed to root or find any information to correctly root my new S5 I purchased from Straight Talk.

The phone model is SM-S903VL running Marshmallow 6.0.1
I have tried a few things but nothing seems to work, It does not have a flash lock option in the security settings only a OEM unlock option in the dev options. That is about it, I tried odin it fails each time.

How do you unlock the bootloader with adb?

I've only ever seen the bootloader being unlocked via the fastboot utility...
