Root Need help

when I try to boot into recovery mode i get a screen that has a phone and then a red triangle with an exclamation mark in it? what is going on??? sorry i am kind of a newbie
 
I had that happen to me the other day but I couldnt tell you why it happened. I just did a battery pull and started over.
 
thanks for the reply i tried that, I am in the process of unrooting and i cannot get into recovery to use the s-on zip file :/
