need help

Hi,
im new to the android world. I just got a new samsung indulge from metro pcs. my dads friend rooted it for me but then i tried going to the android market and it told to put this password but it changed my account. i restarted my phone from the settings and when it was done my android market app was gone and i cant find it at all.
What do I do??

I'd be suspicious that the rooting wasn't a complete reset. Simply rooting a device should not change the account it is registered to. In any event, if a custom rom was used they generally do not include the market for license reasons. I'd ask in Samsung Galaxy Indulge - Android Forums to see if anyone there might have a quick solution for you.
