Root Need Help!

My girl dropped her phone in a couple inches of bleach, and pine sol. Luckily she has fast reflexes and it didnt completely soak the phone. I took the cover off the phone and there was no water damage, also the water strips showed no sign of getting wet.

Her phones rooted, and running the .211 leak with the ability to ap fastboot back to get the ota. Now her phone works and alls good,(heres the but) but when i boot into fastboot mode to fb back using matts razr utility the pc does not detect the phone via usb cable.:confused: I

It charges, and its recognized by pc in any mode ie mass storage mode, just not in ap fatboot mode. Wtf.

All help is appreciated in this matter.
 
Ok turning off debugging didnt work.

If i plug the phone in while on(usb debugging on, or off) the pc reconizes it just like it does mine. As soon as its in ap fastboot mode the pc no longer reconizes the phone. I just updated moto drivers, no help there.

In all other aspects the phone works. Just wont connect in ap fastboot mode. Why?
 
Um it might.
I already have the phone on the..79 so we have to work from there.

Will a restore work from there, because i did a backup before i flashed the,.79 right?
 
It should. It won't be completely stock (did the kernel change at .79?).

Have you tried the most recent utility? I want to say it's 1.7.
 
Quick question, are you sure your using the Motorola usb cable? It sounds crazy but my computer wont recognize my phone is fastboot without it.
 
In this situation i would
Make sure. 211 was on my sd card
Use utility 1.7 to “unstick .211“
Flash 211 in moto recovery
