Need help!

I'm new to this forum so I don't know if this is in the correct area, however I'd appreciate the help; I have met this girl and we have been talking, she gave me her number and she text me, I recieved it all fine but the issue is when I text her she doesn't receive it and I've tried to delete contact re-add etc... I haven't asked what phone she has or any troubleshooting on her end, I just wanted to know if it's my phone. Thanks for any help!

If she has an iPhone, she has to tell it, at least once, to receive your message as text, not as iMessage. If you reply to her text (not start a new one) it goes to the correct address, so that's not the problem. But without knowing what phone she has and trying a few things (like calling her on voice), it's all guessing.

Some phones have a messaging app that has the ability to filter out messages from unknown contacts. If your number is not saved as a contact, then your message would not get through, with that option enabled. This is just a possibility, but it may be something else, just an idea...

Well she might, she could also just be good with phone numbers. I have a friend that just doesn't save contacts and memorizes phone numbers. Like I said earlier, it was just an idea. There are a few different things that can cause the issue, and some are not even the device, but a account setting issue with the carrier.
