Hi everybody . I've done some research , but idk much about this. My cousin needs an unlocked smartphone for calls , texts , and emails . to send the phone overseas . she wants it cheap . from what I'm seeing cheap unlocked phones don't seem to be good not what I've searched . any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Anthony.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, Anthony. :)

The Motorola G is pretty cheap for an unlocked phone, and a heck of a nice phone, too. As long as the frequencies it supports match those of the GSM networks of her carrier, it should work without issues.

Hi that was my first thought too , but I believe she was thinking cheaper than that ( if that's even possible ) . here is where my conflict comes in since she doesn't make much .
Thanks for the input . I'd love a moto g for myself haha. I was thinking maybe a blu dash Jr . I just dk much about the company nor the phone itself.
Thank you,
Anthony.

yea lil company based in Miami Florida, has OK devices on then low price range... just works for what she needs and may get hspa over seas , you can get them on eBay or amazon maybe Walmart

If you need to save a good bit, you can always buy a used phone. I saw some Samsung Galaxy S2 models unlocked for around $120 on Amazon. If you do go the used route, stick to reputable places like Amazon or Swappa. Craigslist and eBay are not the best place to spend your cousin's money. ;)
