Need recommendation for a Passws Manager

Hi all,

So far I have only tried aWallet. I like it. Aside of the fact that it's free, it does a good job. I like the flexibility it affords you to edit the categories. The only thing about it so far, is that at least for now, one cannot import data. This is a crucial feature for me as I have way too many passwords along with their respective data (usernames, URLs, etc). As you may imagine, it would be simply prohibitively to attempt to enter every single one of them one at a time! :(

I could really use your recommendations, as I don't want to spend months and months trying many apps.

I'm using KeePass as password manager on my PC for a long time.

There is an app KeePassAndroid.
As I know, it can be synced with KeePass on PC.

Thanks for the recommendation Harry2 :)
It seems to have all the features I need.
I have installed some plugins already, namely VariousImport. But I haven't been able to import my data so far. The problem is that instead of having my data in any of those programs the plugins are for, I simply keep it in my Google Contacts (In the big right window I keep my username, passw, and used email address for registration.
I already exported those contacts to vCard, and CSV file formats. But KeePass cannot import'em in :(
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,

JDL

Hi JDL, can't help you with this import issue, sorry.
For about ten years I'm just putting the addresses straight in KeePass every time :)
And I use the PC version on an USB stick.

You store your passwords on Google Contacts, unencrypted? Wow. That would have never occurred to me.

I use KeePassX, because I don't do Windows, and it works across platforms, specifically Linux. KeePassDroid reads the databases for Android, and I store the database on Dropbox. It's encrypted, and only unencrypted on my device, for a short time, so I'm not worried about third parties seeing it. All my changes, on any device, get synced across all my devices, so I have the latest version of my passwords anywhere.
