so my samsung captavate crashes every app it opens and i have to force close them, and every 30 seonds, using it or not , the phone will go into sleep! i have factory reset it but a week later it will do the exact same thing. i have done this 5 times not and im sick of losing all of my data, an solutions?

Man.. sorry to hear of the grief. Are you constantly reinstalling the same market apps? Perhaps something isn't playing fair with the rest of the phone's apps. I'm only grasping at straws here. You will want to check in with the good folks that also own the Captivate. They will be able to best help you. Here is a link to that area:
